IMG_1052I love sweets. So much! Ultimate English were kind enough to send me some to try. And that I did. Nearly all of them.

“We’re a traditional business producing the finest quality English confectionery from our base in the beautiful North Yorkshire town of Harrogate. We’ve spent 150 years crafting and refining what we do; using only the best ingredients, time-honoured recipes and techniques and creating most of our confectionery by hand.”

All Butter Fudge

First up is butter fudge not a huge fudge fan if I’m honest, but I have to say I’ve eaten quite a lot of this one! It’s quite sweet and rich – I couldn’t eat a lot of it but that’s probably a good thing. It’s sitting quite nicely in my desk at work, a little afternoon pick-me-up.

Salt Water Chocolate  Truffle Fudge

This is to die for that’s all I can say, I’m not sharing this one! Just words can’t describe not too rich or too sweet, it’s perfect. I audibly made a very dramatic sound of appreciation whilst trying these, I didn’t want it to end. I think this one has won an award as well, I can see why. I give these a gold star.

Lemon Coconut Ice

This is so good I’ve never thought to try something like this before! Lemon and coconut go better together than I thought they would. Particularly with this is as it’s not too lemony, it’s much sweeter than expected and doesn’t have the tang of lemon, just the flavour, which is what makes it nice!
