The Limeyard in Leeds, at the White Rose Shopping Centre, were nice enough to invite me to try a few dishes from their new menu. I had never tried Limeyard before this visit, and can’t say I had been to White Rose for a long time – so it was nice to visit! Limeyard offers all-day Californian Cuisine and has others restaurant in Ealing and Stains down south.
From the new menu, I tried Frosè and Mango Spitz cocktails (one of the most important parts of the meal).
For starters, we tried some delicious sweetcorn tamales – something I’ve never had before. A good choice for the veggies among us.
We also had some glazed ribs which were delicious – I wished there was more of them! They had a hidden layer of coleslaw underneath too, which was a nice surprise.
We did also sample some tacos and nachos – the tacos we’re presented beautifully. The portions I’d say are ideal for a light bite, if you get a few dishes to share or lunch.
It was nice to try something new! Though I have to admit I’m not a huge fan of coriander or, cilantro as our overseas’ counterparts would say. If you’re not a fan of the stuff too – I’d recommend asking for dishes without! Though, if you want to embrace the Cali cuisine, cilantro is something they use heavily in their dishes.
Limeyard is a good place to grab food when your at a large shopping centre like White rose, where you can go shopping then catch-up over cocktails and nachos.
