I’m poorly. Woe is me! Seen as though I’ve been stuck in bed bored out of my mind, it’s given me a chance to write up this post. I recently went on Ebay and found all sorts of treats.
W7 Prime Magic
I’m sure it’s quite obvious now I have a worrying obsession with primers. I’m not particularly sure how I feel about this one, but for a cheap primer it does an okay job. I think it may give a bit too much of a ‘dewy’ look for me but I can’t fault it for its value for money. I have heard praise sung about W7’s setting spray, anyone tried it?
Rimmel Stay Matte – Deep Mocha
Again, something that I’m not too sure about. It’s an okay colour, but for something that’s supposed to be oil free I do think it’s a little runny and oily. I have been using it though combined with other foundations but I’m not sure this was much of a winner for me.
Calvin Klein Cream to Powder Foundation – 11310
I’m not sure this is still being sold in stores so I’m glad I found it. It’s quite a light product, not amazing coverage but it does build quite well. I’ve been using it over foundation rather than on its own, but it is a good one to quickly put on when I just want a little bit of coverage.
I’m also appreciating this compact, it now lives in my bag and is a life saver for a quick top up when I don’t want to bring my whole make-up bag with me when I leave the house. I’ll keep buying this as long as I can find it!
Sleek Translucent Pressed Powder – Deep/471
The holy grail of face powders. I absolutely am madly in love with this, after being a die-hard Mac girl, I have to say I much prefer this face powder to many others I’ve tried. It’s not too heavy and gives a good matte coverage, and doesn’t break the bank! The full range of shades isn’t so easy to get hold of in drugstores but it is pretty much everywhere online. A+ to you Sleek.
